"Woodrocks were once Wargolems that fell in battle, but were never quite deactivated. After hundreds of years, the possibility exists that a thick forest will have grown around their remains. Being a creature of the earth, the lifeforce that remains in the enchanted stone will find a way to construct a new body for itself out of the wood and plants surrounding it.

Thus, a Woodrock is created. Being freed from their previous master's commands, they are now only loyal to the wood itself, and will serve as its unwielding guardian.

Eventually, the magic of the forest might get the upper hand over the golem's original enchantment, which in turn will transform it into a Zenrock, the Trees' personal Herald and mouthpiece, bringing wisdom to anyone who seeks -and deserves -it."
