If you've been a long-time (or recent, for that matter) follower, you've most likely seen a ton of my horror-themed macabre artwork. You've also most likely also wondered: 'why tho'.
Well first of all, I'm a huge fan of horror, and I love to creep people out. Simple as that.
But secondly, I consider making grotesque and gruesome art to be my kind of comfort food. It's usually what I draw when I need to wind down from a difficult commission or something. I don't have to worry about anatomy making sense that much, I don't have to worry about not creeping out the client and I can go into meticulous detailing without really having to worry about a deadline. And furthermore, whenever I'm creating a new piece of horror artwork, I feel like I can just completely zone out and create a story in my head while I'm drawing. It's just really relaxing, really.
Making art like this for the rest of my life would make me happier than anything in the world.
